Thank you so much for your response! I really appreciate you taking the time to really look at my work and give me honest feedback.
I agree with you that the circles could be an issue with longer text. This was something I realized, midway through but thought that design was worth still exploring. I am going to think about better solutions that still involve using contacts as the entrance into the messages.
I also see what you are saying about the large nav bar text. It is nice to look at, but maybe if it shrunk down to a more manageable size as you scrolled down would be a better solution. I currently don’t have a working prototype of this, so I didn’t really account for how it could affect the user over time, which I should have.
As for the color scheme, my thought was that the user could personalize these (with some guidance), so the colors would be up to them. I agree that muted colors may work better overall, though, but contrast may become an issue, as you already suggested with the orange.
With the alignment issues, I definitely see the lines issue. That is a simple mistake in drafting that went overlooked. However, I don’t really see where you mean with the date. The date is smaller than the email title, but they are aligned at the bottom. Could you better explain the issue? Maybe I’m not looking at the right thing.
Thank you again, though, for your response. You obviously looked at my work extremely closely, which I really appreciate. I would love to hear any more feedback you have on this or future projects I have because I only want to get better.
